Poly JV Football vs Cabrillo

 Lakewood, the school I normally shoot for, had a by this week, so I covered the Poly JV game to get some shots of a friends son (#2).

Although this game was very one sided, I believe Cabrillo might have had more yards lost then gained, I was still able to get some great shots of them in action.

It wasn't Lakewood, but I did enjoy covering it.  I hope you enjoy my favorites from the game.

 

Lakewood Varsity Football vs Mayfair

Week 3 Football and our first home game.  Not only was this our first home game, but it was the rival game against Mayfair for the Milk Bucket trophy, which was currently held by Lakewood.

After two big losses from our opening game against Serra and followed by Loyola, Lakewood really needed a win and boy did they jump in feet first to get that win.

Lakewood dominated both side of the ball from kickoff to games end, winning 64-0.

I had a lot of opportunities for some great shots and had a blast covering this game, so please enjoy my favorites from the game.

Lakewood Freshmen Football vs Mayfair

Here we are at the start of week 3, which brings us to Mayfair and tomorrow night the Milk Bucket.

There's not a lot to say as my pictures are my words.  For me its all about the action and showing the intensity in which our young athletes compete at and I know you'll see that in these shots.

Lakewood Varsity Football vs Loyola

Here we are at the end of week two and it has been a rough start for Lakewood.  No wins as yet, which I've said in the past, makes for a rough game to shoot.  Not only is the action limited, but it hurts watching your team lose.

Now don't get discouraged as I did as I always to and that is capture the action and I got some sweet shots our the cheerleaders.  Love the golden glow of the background from the setting sun.
