The end of a busy day.
I didn't really capture a lot of field action during this game, but I was able to get a lot of balls in the batting shots, as you'll see below. This was their last season game and my third game of shooting them. I hope to put together a DVD slideshow for the girls, something they can look back at years from now.

- Welcome to my blog. Looking through my posts you will find that I love and have a passion for photography and although my expertise so to speak is in Sports Action, I have been getting into wildlife and senior portraits. No matter what I'm shooting I want to bring my client the best possible shot I can and give them / you a photograph that you will cherish for a lifetime. If your looking for someone to capture your child in action, to show the intensity and emotion in which your child plays, look no further. Just drop me a line (e-mail) at homerkenpo@aol.com. I cover most areas in Southern Califoria.

Yeah, you got the pitcher through the little wire hole. Proud of you!!! Great shots, Jim!!!!!
BTW, great portrait work too above. Way different from doing sports, huh???
Thanks for the comments. I am very happy with my batter shots and Denise, I'm sorry but no shooting through the fence on the pitching shots. I was kneeling just behind the catcher for these.
You are very very brave....and LUCKY!!!!! How much did you pay the ump to get that seat???? A big circle does not like a tiny square :)
