Lakewood Varsity Football vs Mayfair

Week three for varsity finds them competing against Mayfair for the Milk Bucket Trophy, which is currently in possession of Lakewood.

A quick shot of the team captains.

And now to the action. I started without the flash, but during the second half I put it on. Not really happy, oh who am I kidding, I'm not happy at all with my flash shots. I really need to get a better grasp of using the flash for these games as it's not going to get any better. With that said, here are some shots from the game.

Not as sharp as you usually capture, but they're good. What lense or lenses do you primarily use for these games?

Thanks for sharing!

Appreciate the comment Cynthia and you are right about them being soft. To this day I still battle with lighting. I might get it all figuered out by the time I retire from my real job.
