Here she is with her mom and dad. I'm sure her mom will correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe she placed 1st on vault, and 6th on floor. I don't recall what her final total score was, but she did make state, which will be held in Long Beach in November.
And here I am with the champion.
My nephew starts as defensive end. I was able to get a few decent shots of him in action.
My nephew's girlfriend, who was part of the home coming court.
During the game my wife, who was with me waiting for the end, told me about some birds overhead. I took a look and saw a group of crows dive bombing a hawk. I took a couple of shots and after a very tight crop, here are two to share.
This shot was taken during a penalty kick.
The following shots are of the two young ladies I was asked to shoot. I have to say that I wasn't pleased with what I ended up with. Both girls played a good distance apart and it seemed that every time they were involved in some good action they were either turned away from me or someone was standing between them and I, but what do you do. Some things just can't be controlled. I think I'll try to get out again and focus on one girl during each half.
While the game was playing a huge flock (I guess that's what you would call it) of parrots came flying by the field. I was able to get a couple of shots off during their fly-by.
