Lakewood vs Poly, what really can anyone say about these two schools. For as long as I've been involved with Lakewood, Poly was the team to beat. They are one, if not the biggest, powerhouse team in the Moore League. Now I can talk about why this is, but I won't. What I will say is that Poly has some of the best coaching and great players to match. They came to this game with 80 consecutive league game wins. Lakewood, who came close to beating this powerhouse last year in league and almost taking them down during the finals in play-offs, came to de-thrown them. The anticipation was incredible with both teams ready for war, because for these two teams, that's what it is, "A War"
In the end Lakewood came out on top. They played hard and made plays when it was necessary, winning 21-14.
The game was played at Long Beach Veteran's Stadium, located at Long Beach Community College, under the lights. Knowing that the lights at Vet's Stadium were very nice, or at least much better than any high school field I normally shoot at, I decided not to use a flash. Instead I shot at ISO 3200, f/2.8, with a shutter of 1/400. I am very pleased with the results, but you be the judge.
Need I say anything............
