Here we are at the first season game of the year. This season opener starts with Compton, which usually has a tough well disciplined team, but for this freshmen team they were far from it. Lakewood played are hard running game and after a slow start dominated the game with run after run.
Compton, which usually has a great team when it comes to sportsmanship really seemed to lack that with this team. I personally don't take sides when shooting a game, as I'm just out their to capture the action and hopefully make a few bucks in the process, but I saw some bad hits and very foul language put out by this Compton team.
With that said here are some shots from the game to share.
The below young man (#34) did a great job running the ball for Lakewood. A pleasure to watch.
