With football being over I have been feeling the need to get out and shoot some action. With high school soccer and middle school track just around the corner for me I decided to get out today and shoot some surf action.
The last two days we've had some high surf due to some storms coming our way and I really wanted to get out this morning but had some more important things to take care of, so I waited until later in the afternoon. I knew I would have some bad back lighting but I really wanted to get out and shoot some surfers.
I used the beast today, my 300mm f/2.8, with the camera set at aperture priority at f/2.8 with an ISO of 200. After shooting I wished I would have brought my 1.4x converter to give me some added range. Oh well, maybe next time.
