High School Baseball - Double Header

Covered a double header of four teams looking for a spot at first place.  The first game was Lakewood Lancers vs Poly Jackrabbits.  Lakewood had to win in order to tie for first place in Moore League.

The second game was the Millikan Rams vs Wilson Bruins.  Millikan has secured their spot at first place, but if Wilson was to win they would be tied for first as well.

In the end we both Lakewood and Wilson won their games resulting in a three-way tie for first place in the Moore League.

Lakewood Varsity Baseball vs Marina

I really need to get back to posting on my blog.  Not so much because of followers, but so that I have something to go back to and simply see the history of my photography.

Baseball season is in full swing with per-season under way. 

My first baseball of the season is Lakewood vs Marina at Blair Field, home of the Cal State Long Beach Dirbags.

This was a night game, which means high ISO, but in the end I thought the shots came out pretty good.  Here are some highlights from the game.

 This game marked the end of baseball for me.

This was game in which Lakewood needed to win to be tired for second in the Moore League, but they fell short with Millikan taking the game and League title.

A great game to cover and I know these shots show the intensity of the game these young men played.
