Moore League Track Finals

Normally when its track season I cover several league meets, but this year I didn't cover a single one, but only came out during league finals.

This year as normal the Moore League Track Finals were held at Veteran's Stadium at Long Beach Community College.  Track has always been a sport I feel I thrive at and highly enjoy shooting.  Yes there is always something going on and can be a bit overwhelming, but the fact there is so much going on there is always something to shoot and capture the action in.

Here are my favorites from this years finals.

Lakewood Track vs Wilson

Headed out to Wilson High to cover a make up meet with Lakewood and Wilson High.  It was a nice afternoon, but I have to say I was a bit disappointed.  Due to various reasons Lakewood didn't have many participants in the events, but I made things work and took some shots I can be proud of.

 League track has started out here in sunny California and to start things up I went out to cover the Lakewood vs Wilson meet.  Loved getting in touch with high school track again and here are my favorites from the days meet.

Moore League Track Finals

Covered the Moore League Track Finals and the weather was so much better than the Wednesday prior during the league prelims.  It was a great afternoon / evening to be out shooting track.

During this meet I tried to focus my attention to primarily the varsity events and athletes, since this is what the paper would want and it's their last year to shine before heading off to college.
