Moore League Track Finals

Normally when its track season I cover several league meets, but this year I didn't cover a single one, but only came out during league finals.

This year as normal the Moore League Track Finals were held at Veteran's Stadium at Long Beach Community College.  Track has always been a sport I feel I thrive at and highly enjoy shooting.  Yes there is always something going on and can be a bit overwhelming, but the fact there is so much going on there is always something to shoot and capture the action in.

Here are my favorites from this years finals.

Lakewood Track vs Poly

 Continuing my coverage of Lakewood track who went up against Poly yesterday at Lakewood High School.  I've been shooting track differently lately and going more tight.  I also and guess you can say always like showing depth in the running events, and by depth I mean blurred runners in the background or the range of various runners as they head towards the finish line.  Not really new with me, but something I've always loved about running events.

Moore League Track Finals

Covered the Moore League Track Finals and the weather was so much better than the Wednesday prior during the league prelims.  It was a great afternoon / evening to be out shooting track.

During this meet I tried to focus my attention to primarily the varsity events and athletes, since this is what the paper would want and it's their last year to shine before heading off to college.
