Moore League Track Finals

Covered the Moore League Track Finals this Friday.  Normally I get out to cover several of the meets prior to the finals, but this year this is my first track meet of the year, which is odd as track is my favorite sport to shoot.

Next will be CIF Track Finals at Cerritos College, which I enjoy covering each year.

Please enjoy some of my favorites from the meet.

Moore League Track Finals

Normally when its track season I cover several league meets, but this year I didn't cover a single one, but only came out during league finals.

This year as normal the Moore League Track Finals were held at Veteran's Stadium at Long Beach Community College.  Track has always been a sport I feel I thrive at and highly enjoy shooting.  Yes there is always something going on and can be a bit overwhelming, but the fact there is so much going on there is always something to shoot and capture the action in.

Here are my favorites from this years finals.

Moore League Track Finals - 2015

For starters I will say I'm much more happier with the shots I took during the finals than I did with the prelims.  With that said I was able to move about and get a wider variety of shots, including the field events, which I enjoy shooting the most.

This meet started at approx 2:45 pm and lasted until about 8:30 pm, which made for a full day of shooting and way to many shots to go through.

Here are some of my favorites from the finals.  Now I wait until the CIF finals, which will be held at Cerritos College on May 23rd.

Please enjoy the shots, which were all taken with my 7D Mark II and my 300 f/2.8, except for the silhouette and stadium shot, which I used my 16-35 f/2.8 lens on.
