I intended to cover the JV game, but once I got to Cabrillo High I discovered there wasn't any JV game, so I simply turned around and drove to Lakewood to cover the freshmen game.
The freshmen, who have been having a rough year, simply dominated the game on both sides of the ball.
I'll start with a shot of the cheerleaders, who I haven't been able to shoot lately since I've been covering the away JV games.
When I took the below shot this wasn't what I envisioned happening. Our defense was getting through the offensive line pretty good and I was hoping for a nice rush to the quarterback for either a sack, or high intensity charge. Well I didn't get either, but got the pinch, or should I say #99 got the pinch. Now it's not what I intended to get, but I really like how it came out.
