Wednesday was a day of rain and I was ready for it. Although I felt a bit under the weather sometimes you just need to get out and I really wanted to get out and shoot some soccer.
Lakewood had a rough season and made it to the wildcard round in the CIF playoffs. Since it was a home game I decided to head out with my poncho and rain cover for the camera to shoot some action. It was raining pretty steady during the first half of play, not hard, but steady. During the second half the clouds began to clear letting the sun shine through, but this only lasted a during the first half of the second half as some very dark (almost black) clouds started to roll over the field. The second to last shot in this set shows how dark the clouds were.
In the end I was glad to be outside shooting, it was very refreshing.
